because alot of sites tell you to send a picture along with ur resume to a provided address, but how do you know if its a scam or not. because on your resume you would put your home address and a contact number, so what do i do?

ok my dream has always been to become an actress.
and i am very passionate about it.
i dont care about the money i would do it for free.
i just wanna touch ppls hearts like acotrs have done to me in movies.
i have the ability but i dont know where to start.
i want it so bad that sometimes i watch movies and i start crying b/c i want to be an actress so bad.
th problem is i live in georgia and i dont know where to go to start here.
do i need to wait till i have time out of skool like next summer or start now?
if so what talent agencies should i call?
where can i get lessons or get a list of auditions for free every website i go to i have to pay, but i dont want to.

I just bought a used wein WP-500B flash meter and I just dont get it. I have a page of instructions that tell me, basically, that I place the meter right in front of the subject, fire the strobe and viola I have an f-stop number. It works as it came from a reputable local camera shop and it gives me a f/number when I fire the flash.

My real question here is how do I figure out the speed of the shutter from this meter? Or can I? I searched photo.net and only found people who already know the basics of metering this way asking fine tuning questions.

Please help.

This is one thread I found and it shows a pic of the meter and how it works. Again I would like to know how to match shutter speed to all of this.

I want to audition for the first time in my life for a play. It is Dearly Departed, and I am a freshman in High School. I want something that is around 1-3 minutes long, and is very dramatic. I want to be able to show I can act so it needs to have stage directions. I don't just want to stand there, and tell a story. Life I said I want to show that I have acting skills so something where I can be dramatic, and move around a lot would be amazing! Does anyone know where I can find a good audition monologue for a teen like me that is dramatic enough?

I want very badly to photograph a male in the nude. When I say in the nude, I mean that I as the photographer will be nude and he the model will be fully dressed. This has always been a desire of mine and I've been a photgrapher for 10 years now. How would I go about setting something like this up?

Does anybody know of any European artwork from the middle ages depicting the Black Plague and religion? I have found many paintings of the Black Plague, and also many concerning religion, but I need to have both ... and I do not mean write fiction and play the big time like Steven King.

I mean like tech writer, columnist and whatever side jobs I could do on a regular basis in order to supplement my income? I'd like at least 600 to 3000 a month and would be nice to do this.

I'm a funny guy, not to mention modest.My creative juices are always flowing and I'm always thinking up crazy stories/scenarios/sketches... My dream job would be just brainstorming funny commercial ideas, obviously one day being able to produce/write my own movie would be spectacular. I've thought of doing some stand up at the local improv's open mic nites, and many of my friends are encouraging me to. But what about from an educational stand point? Any majors that would help me? I'm still in school and I don't want to chase some pipe dream of living my life from freelancing, I'd like to go to school for something steady, so if that major can be transferable to a lot of good jobs, I'm for it!
