In my class we have to debate... "whether worship is or is not a theatre event" my side is the "is not a theatre event" we have a few good ideas but does anyone else have any input??

Worship can be theater in that all gifts are from God and the talent utilized in theater can certainly be used to praise and worship Him. It is also a great tool in enhancing the worship service. Theatrical techniques are often used to get points across in all areas of worship. Just make sure you are doing it for the purpose of worship and not to get praise for yourself.

You have the wrong side but.............

Theater is for entertainment or to educate. Worship is for a group to acknowledge subservience. Some worship is more theater than worship.
