Superstars??

Does superstars like brad pit and mel gibson have to audition. Or they just get contact by casting directors to book a part.?

Most of the time, they are sent scripts and have their pick of roles, but on rare occasions they do have to audition for certain things -- it's usually not a formal audition, mostly just a meeting/interview with the director.

Producers send them scripts and they have their choice of roles. They do not audition.
