Ok, I want to write like Dav Pilkey's The Adventures of Captain Underpants but I write to short. Who can help me get more chapters and more pages. basically, my story is chap 1-intro chap 2-fighting chap 3-end. please help! oh and do you like my this story idea? There were two boys who accidentally knocked a magic necklance that a teacher brought in Chinatown. She kept it in her box. The shopkeeper says that in ancient times. A good king died and people had a ceremony. An woman dropped her necklance into a fire(bonfire) and when she took it out, she became a firegirl(like the human torch) and a person finally defeated her. It is beleived that when the evil king lost the war and died to the good king, the evil king haunted the fire. Til now, the evil and his servant lives in a jungle making this evil necklances and selling it in Chinatown. So, that was the story(as the teacher said) Meanwhile, the necklance floates to the two boys classmate's house . Check additinoal details.

What do yo think of this saying:

"Money doesn't buy you happiness, it only buys you choices."

Do you feel that if you had a great windfall tomorrow that it will only bring on more choices on what to do with your life, but it is only those choices that will make you happy in life, not the money?

Well, I'm trying to write a book. I've been told that I am a great writer and I have all these great ideas for a fantasy novel. The problem is that it's going to be too short. I've already written about the princess escaping from the castle, rescuing the peasant boy and receiving a gift from a fortune teller and it's only 26 pages long! (Btw, the pages are typed, double spaced. This is approximately equal to one page in a novel.) HELP!!

Just read the latest book and again noticed how superior wizards think they are to Muggles, of course this attitude is present among wizards in all the Harry Potter books. However wizards have never been shown facing any competent Muggle such as an assassin or skilled martial artist. Who would win an elite fictional Muggle vs a powerful Harry Potter wizard; Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill with her kickass Hattori Hanzo sword and guns or a fanatical anti-Muggle wizard like Bellatrix Lestrange or Voldemort? A wizard would seem an obvious victor but Beatrix is a lot faster than any wizard due to training and is a perfect shot thereby easily dodging curses and killing with a single bullet. In case of an some sort of bullet shielding charm which is unlikely she can get up close and decapitate Voldy for instance and surely there is no spell for that. That would make an interesting fanfic, the Ministry or Death Eaters sending a super Muggle assassin to kill Harry Potter or vice versa.

I doodle a lot. i spend at least 3 hours a day doodleing. im determined to be a great drawer when i get older. Right now im really interested in anime and i just cant nail their features and stuff. I'll copy and trace pictures of characters like goku, naruto, even sly cooper, and make up my own characters, which seem to always come out nowhere close to how i imagined them. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for how i could get better at drawing like this?

"Some Day without Memories"

What is the point of a memory,
If it can be tangled and maimed,
In to a mendacious truth that influences everything
All movements, all cognitive vibrations,
They intertwine with motivation, dreams, hopes.

As I grow, aging so slowly,
Forgetfulness devours my brain
And I praise those imperfections.
For memories should not run free
Untamed and unaccounted for.

Eventually memories become futile
For they have no purpose in this event called life
He tells me to wait, wait for what we will have
If the future is all we can grasp
What is the point of memories?

While I did enjoy it, from a literary point of view I feel it has been largley overrated over the years.

Additionally, Holden Caulfield (while a complex character), is a bit of a bore in my opinion.

Just my humble thoughts.....would love to hear yours

I was reading about some of the great empires of the past from Egypt, Babalonian, Persian, Greek, Macedonian, and Roman. They all seem to have an influance, even today. Maybe the Roman empire has the greatest.

For me, there have been several, but I think the scariest one was when I was with the Wyoming Shakespeare Co. We were doing Romeo and Juliet in a park one day and a t-storm hit. Lightning was all over us, the rain was pounding so bad it hurt, then it started hailing. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We were most afraid of the swordplay toward the end because of the lightning. The audience stayed through the whole thing, however. We continued through the storm and we were soaked and our ears hurt from the crashing thunder and wind, but it was unforgettable. I'd like to hear about what you guys have to say...

I was the Prince of Verona, in case you were curious....

I undertand High School Musical is very popular as are shows like Hannah Montana, but RARELY do people get on the Disney Channel. Almost every single female I know in my drama classes have auditioned for Disney, and some are very good--and not one has made it.

I've only been a member of Answers for a couple days, and already I've seen numerous questions asked about auditioning for Disney, sending in resumees, and where to go to get there. But there are MANY other options out there, and you have to work your way up to the top before you become Zac Efron or Hannah Montana.

So my questions are: Do you HONESTLY think you are good enough to be on the Disney Channel? If so, why? Do you have enough experience? And why don't you want to pursue something more worthwhile such as Broadway?

I really want to get into acting, singing, dancing, playing guitar, ect. I'm not just a fan of some movie or band I just enjoy to do all these things. I have my heart set on it. Does anyone have any tips on how to become an actor, like on Disney Channel? So far I have taken Hip-Hop dance lessons for about half maybe 3/4s of a year. I have been in a choir since I was in forth grade. I am about to take guitar lessons. I am going to save the voice lessons till I am some what older. (By the way I'm 13) I am going to try out for the school play and drama club. Does anyone know what else I need to do? Any Tips!? Thanks!

PS- I'm not just doing it for fame!

In my Theatre class, I have to do a non-verbal duet assignment with someone, and we can't talk at all or make any noise. The assignment that we have to act out together has to be three-five minutes long, but I don't know what I should do. I mean, like what kind of act or little skit to do for at least 3 minutes without talking. Any creative ideas?
