Alright, I work in a book store so I know all the good books.

Eragon (Christopher Paolini), This was recently made into a movie, its about a boy who is a dragonrider. Its a trilogy, and Eragon is the first in it. Eldest the second, and th third is yet to be released.

Sisterhood of Traveling Pants (Ann Brashares) This is a great story about four best friends who spend their first summer apart and decided to send a pair of jeans between them to stay close. It's been made into a movie, with the second movie in production at the moment. There are four books in the series, over the four summers of their highschool years.

Jenny Carroll books. Jenny Carroll has two great series of books. One is better known Princess Diaries. The other is the lesser known Missing Series. In the missing series a girl called Jess Mastriani is hit by lightening, after that she starts having strange dreams that help her find missing people.

Bromeliad Trilogy (Terry Pratchet) This trilogy (Truckers, Diggers, Wings), isn't part of the diskworld series and is a stand alone trilogy about 4inch gnomes who live in a department store, and play tricks on the customers.

Any young adult book by Meg Cabot is a must read. Her heroines are always teen girls who get themselves in sticky situations whether it's high school, royalty problems, the supernatural, magical happenings, or legends. Not one story is the same! Plus they are light and FUNNY. REALLY FUNNY. That's what I love about her. Search for her on Amazon.com and you'll see a full book list. Also she'll be Borders and Barnes & Noble to be sure.

You can just borrow at the local library though.

well... i'm only 12 but 'Rebel Angels' By Libba Bray was an excellent book to read... it's kind of like a fairy tale like Harry Potter just much more girly and a better adventure. You can get it at Costco or Sam's Club... i don't know if they have it at Barns and Noble or Boarders, but you can give it a try... Oh yeah the book is 548 pages and 50 chapters... I hope you enjoy it... :)

Have you read the Twilight series? There are three books now, Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. They are fantastic! Stephenie Meyer is the author. You can get them pretty much any where. Eclipse would probably be the easiest to get because it just came out but you should read them in order. The Maximum Ride series is also fantastic! All three of the books are quick reads but very enjoyable. You can get those anywhere as well. Hope this helps and HAPPY READING!!

Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers
The Last Sin Eater, by Francine Rivers
Pirates, by Celia Rees
A Ride Into Morning, by Ann Rinaldi
.......
all these you can buy at Barnes and Noble. they're my favorites. but i definitely suggest that you read some of the older books, too. classics like Little Women,by Louisa May Alcott, and any Jane Austen book like Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Persuasion, or Sense and Sensibility. they're all TIMELESS and sooo enjoyable for teenage girls like us!
