What if everything that you though was real, wasn’t?

What if your whole life is just one big setup?

Would you want to know the truth?

Could you handle the truth?

Or would you rather not risk knowing the truth and go on living your life?

When this question comes close to being resolved, I will post the odds that we are in a matrix along with the source of my info. So if you would prefer not to know the odds, post your response and don’t come back to this question.

I bought some tickets for a comedy show, and they are in the "pit" as opposed to the "orchestra" section of the theater. What's the difference? When I look at a layout of the theater's seating chart theres no "pit" marked anywhere.

I recently finished high school, and was wondering if having a post secondary education in theatre is worth it. I know alot of people who don't have a degree in drama or theatre, but are still performing and they take some acting classes/courses on the side. Right now I'm entering university doing my BA in something completely different. My reasoning is that I'd want something solid to fall back on - just in case 4 years down the road and I realize that acting isn't as what I'd thought it would be. You don't need a degree to act, but you need one for a whole lot of other careers. I have a sneaking suspision however that my fate lies in a theatre and I'd have this eternal itch if I don't try it.

I learned, and still believe, that cause and effect were inextricably linked. That every effect (result) had a cause, but I have recently been exposed to some ideas that some effects can not and do not have causes. (the universe and consciousness for example) I realize that some things are and we just don't know any cause yet but it seems to me illogical to espouse seriously that maybe some things do not have causes rather than saying honestly, "I don't know."

1. Nothing is one if one cannot be as part.
2. Noting is one if one is not as part.
3. Nothing will be one if one cannot be as part.
4. Nothing will be one if one could not be as part.
Which one among these statement is grammatically correct?
Is there any other way to say it?

I have always felt called to the R.C. Preisthood I entered after highschool and left ogf my own freewill. Later after living my life I thought that I should go back. I met with the Jesuit community and was told I wasn't educated/ successful enough. I went to Catholic elementry, high, and post secondary educational institutions.
I still feel called to help and serve people in the name of all those who taught me and my God. Should I try again?

Okay, so I'm writing an essay on the impact of history of the Civil war on the South.

I need two good resources and the ones I'm finding (via google) are total junk.

Anyone know of a GOOD reenactment site with a history section in it. Or a GOOD SCV or DCV site that has a "Why we are here today" kind of thing?

SCV = Sons of Confederate Veterans
DCV = Daughters of Confederate Veterans.

I posted a few minutes ago about this topic but i feel I didn’t adequately state what it was I wanted advice about. So here goes: I’m writing a book. I have all these great ideas in my head, but on paper they’re very brief. I expressed worry about the novel not being enough pages, but I really meant that I’m afraid the adventures are too short and are lacking in detail. I’m also a little worried that the story will seem rushed. So, how do I add in those details that make the accounts longer, for the sake of a good read, not page numbers? And how do I transition smoothly from one escapade to the next if there is time in between? Right now it seems as if the characters jump from one day to the next and there are no little actions such as brushing their teeth or whatever, that aren’t necessary to be mentioned. I don’t want to flat-out write “She brushed her teeth,” but I want the reader to know some action may have occurred between waking up and eating breakfast, if that makes any sense..

What actually sets your standard for morals and values? Do you concider kindness necessary or insignificant? Do you consider the human race an accident of nature, or purposeful? How do you define your existence?

Stormy heart, blackened eyes.
Home torn apart under rainy skies.
Little one asks, "Why does Mommy cry?"
Big sister's answer, "I don't know why."
Yet Mommy stays and tells herself lies.
"It will get better." But still Mommy cries.

Stormy night. "No more," Mommy said.
Home torn apart, and now Mommy's dead.
They took Daddy away
from where she had bled.
Little one asks, "Why did Mommy die?"
Big sister's answer, "I don't know why,
but now Daddy's gone and Mommy won't cry."
