My saddest moment... was on Sep. 7th, 2003. Watching my father die in his bed. Watching him take his last breath... then stop moving.... knowing he was dead now. Gone out of this world forever...
It changed me... more than I'll ever be able to express... My personality changed... and I had to rebuild who I was. It's imposible for me to describe, but watching someone die in real life... is NOTHING like it is in a movie.

I think my saddest moment hasn't happened yet. I often have nightmares of my mom dying, so maybe that will be it.
I do have times when I feel sad however, and those are the moments when I see people treating other people like crap, death and destruction all over the world, and I did cry once really bad when I observed some heartless jerk intentionally swerving to hit a squirrel.
I really don't think I have hit my saddest moment yet. And I know that someday all the things I think that might cause me to lose it, so to speak, will a happen but for now, I am so far content with all my sorrows. I pray when I see these things happening, and I cry. But tomorrow the sun will come out and I know that no matter what happens, things will get better.

Probably when my dad died. We were never that close in life (though me & my family were at his side 24/7 for his last 2 weeks) and sometimes it was a struggle not to get into an argument with him. But now that he's gone, I find myself thinking of him a lot, and it's mostly the happy memories that stick.

When my mother died. She was only 58 and it was very sudden without warning. We lived in different states, and i could not get there in time to say my last passing words to her. At the funeral service at the cemetary, I stayed to watch them cover her plot , because I still just couldn't believe she was gone. So I said all the things I had to say, and still found it hard to walk away and leave her there.

Waking up each day is pretty high up there. After that, it's probably realizing that I'm pushing 30 and have not found any real meaning or purpose to my life. Plus I'm single, and getting REAL tired of Internet porn.

despite suffering the loss of my father at a young age, my saddest moment has to be when i sank so low as to take a lover back after he had been unfaithful. i had lost self-respect. something that only i could do to myself.
i knew the death of my father was coming and i experienced closure with him. with my lover, i knew i was making a grand mistake and even cried at that moment. fortunately it didn't last.

Learning that some friends are not trustworthy. Just as sad is losing a good friend or family member.

And the boy got up and left
Without even looking back.
