Why not. I also wanted to enter the Jesuits. But I have children now.

Always try to serve everyone no matter what. Only do it in the name of God. "When you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God" (Book of Mormon - Mosiah 2:17) Yes, I am LDS.
But if they don't "accept" you, That sounds like a pride issue of theirs to me. A religion is not about being accepted for your education or lack thereof or money (it SOULDN'T be). It's about people trying to help each other become better people and following God's example given to us in the scriptures.
The web site I give may lead you to help through the problems almost everyone faces in this world. Try it. Look around on that site. It may help you understand not only that, but a lot of other questions you may have about life and God and what is after this life.
:)

What is more important to you: helping & serving others, or spreading your religion? Or do you view helping & serving others as a conduit for spreading your religion?
If all you want to do is to help & serve others, you don't need to join the clergy to do that. You could be a social worker, youth counselor, work in a soup kitchen, build houses for Habitat for Humanity, join the Peace Corps, or work with one of hundreds of private charities out there.
If your goal is to spread your religion, then join the clergy. If they won't have you, then start your own church, or join some evangelical group.
If you want to help and serve others, but feel you want to do it in the name of your god and/or teachers, then maybe you should closely re-examine your reasons. Are you wanting to help others as a means to spreading your religion? Admirable perhaps from a RC point of view, but not really altruistic, because you're doing it with ulterior motives. What's wrong with helping people just for the sake of helping them? Good acts are their own rewards, and if done altruistically should not be done to further one's own goals, even if you consider those goals to be noble.

If you truly feel called, then you should go. The Jesuits are not the only option, you know. For that matter, the RC church has a serious shortage of secular priests (non-monks) and--unless you're married or gay or something--will probably welcome you with open arms.

YEs, but talk to the LDS missionaries. The Catholics lost the Priesthood power in about 400A.D and have been bumbling along since thinking that they do have it.
But when Christ restored his Church in 1820 he restored the Priesthood.
Look here all about it.

Go for it. I mean, the worst they can say is "no". Also, try to look into the Capuchins. They are service-oriented friars and sisters.

Do whatever the hell you want to! If that's what you really -- really -- want to do with your life, than hell yes, find out what you need to achieve it and go for it!
Sorry about all the "hells," I actually talk that way.
