Adaptation = Evolution

Change without adaptation is usually called extinction.
And sometimes adaptation means learning not to change, which explains successful lifeforms that have existed for millenniums.

No I don't think so because in evolution you can change, but you cant go back to the way you were before.In evolution(I don't believe in evolution but I research this sort of stuff) if birds come from dinosaurs the birds still don't change back into a dinosaur. Whereas we can go back to the life style we were in before.

One can change, yet not evolve.
One can evolve and still not change.
If I change my apparel did I involve
or awaken evolution?
Does a station evolve simply because
I changed the channel?
Does a deceased individual evolve
to death merely because their status
as remaining among the living suddenly changed?
Change is an equation in evolution
but is not its equivalence.

aye sir that's all correct. The two words are about synonymous excepting the connotation of evolution as a biological theorem.

It's a reasonable word exchange but it lacks the specificity needed to describe the concept of evolution fairly. It's a good enough word choice for the uneducated or for younger children.
