An accomplished wizard would win without a doubt. It is extremely easy to deflect bullets with a simple shield charm or reductor curse. In any case, even if the wizard got shot, it is very easy to heal wounds. However, a bullet is not going to stop Avada Kedavra, and the Imperius Curse could be used to make the shooter put down the gun. A confundus charm would be worthwhile. Then again, the Muggle's memory could be modified. And, oh, the cruciatus curse would stop the attack in an instant. As for the decapitation, do you really think that any wizard in their right mind would let an attacking Muggle that close? Hello, Stupefy! I'm pretty sure expelliarmus would disarm the Muggle too.

Let's see, with a sneakerscope Harry would know if this super assassian was sneaking up on him. With the Invisibility cloak he could vanish quickly. And by being able to disaperate he'd be gone before your muggle assassian even got close. Then there's the fact that the shielding charm actualy can be used against physical objects as Hermione used it in the tent the night Ron left with the result being the shield not only forced Harry Ron, and Hermione all a few feet apart but prevented her from passing through it in order to stop Ron from leaving. She also cast it against a waterfall. So a bullet would be unlikely to pass through if objects that aren't spells can't pass through.
Finally, how would your super assassian get past the muggle repeling charm, which would prevent her from ever getting close?

it really depends on the situation, and the muggle/wizard involved. True, with training, a Muggle could beat a wizard, yet an average person wouldnt have that kind of training. And there are weak wizards that would lose against an average muggle (Neville?). But if an average muggle were set against an average wizard, i would have to say the wizard would probably win.

That's a pretty cool idea- I never thought of that. What if Batman or Spiderman went up against Voldemort- who do you think would win?? Batman and Spidey are both cleaver muggles!

OK.........what's the question?
I think wizards and witches rock. I mean compared to normal muggles as our selves they have a more interesting life. I'd love to be a witch and get excepted into Hogwarts.

um. no offense but i'm pretty sure voldemort would have won. even if she managed to get close and chop his head off he would still been living b/c she doesn't have a really powerful way of killing the horcruxes does she?
and what if the wizard was invisible? does she have like glasses for that or something ?

lol u seem 2 put a lot of faith in Muggles. i think that one guy is right and the witch or wizard would win indefinitely, especially if they are as pwerful as dumbledoor because he could make himself invisible and therefore invulnerable
