That is a misconception. Egyptians did not worship the pharaoh as an actual god, they believed the pharaoh was the living representative of the gods on earth. Egyptians further believed that when the pharaoh died he became one with Ra (in the heavens) and also one with Osiris (in the underworld). In fact, when Amenhotep III seemed to imply he was the 'actual god Ra,' it was heretical. So the simple answer is not 'yes,' it's complicated.

Yes in a way for most of them and also because of all of the good luck and power that they had they were closer to the gods and so they were treated as gods.

Well they were TOLD that they were GODS, whether they truly beleived it is hard to say.

there is no proof to say one way or the other. Sure i am positive some truly beleived it but others I am also sure questioned it silently.

You did what you were told and beleived what you were told and kept your opinions to yourself.

so hard to know for sure but i bet some did and some did not. especially the Hebrew Slaves!!!
