Hello.
I've been interested in things such as acting and modeling for a good while now. However, I live in a small, rural place and the one bit of interest I got from an agency - was expensive. (You know what they say; if it costs, it's fake.)
Any tips on how to get my foot in the door?
Also, I am kind of shy in that area, which would inhibit any potential acting. Does anyone have advice for me on how to overcome this hindering shyness?
Thank you!

[♥]Can I have a lot of answers plzz!!!?
*I'm 14
*I have BAD writer's block when a topic is thrown @ me.
*I hate poetry sometimes, especially when I have to write it.
*I had to do an ode peom...topic is the 'beach'.
*I know it kinda sucks, so you don't have to tell me LOL...just say what I should change and if you thinks it's okay.

Ode to the Beach

Sand
Seashells
Jellyfish
Shore
Water
Seagulls
Sun
Sandcastles
Ocean
Fish

The water hits the shore
As the seagulls fly overhead
The sand covers the ground
Like a broad bedspread

On the sand, seashells sprawl
With the jellyfish that were swept
By the waves, out of the ocean
Where they once slept.

The sun sits above the water
Like a big yellow sphere
It warms the beachgoers
And the boardwalk that stands near.

The peerless sandcastles
And the appealing palm trees
The myriad fish in the sea,
This is why I adore the beach.

God’s economy was unveiled through the apostles, but because the believers lost the proper understanding of God’s economy, there is the need for it to be recovered by the Lord

Me and my friends always have an argument/ debate about whether nothing is something. Personally I think it is, depending on the context- It could just mean that it is nothing relevant to the subject- but what do you think?

Interested to hear what others do....

How do you prepare a character for stage, film, tv?
Is (would) your approach different for each of the above?
Does the genre (comedy, drama, etc) effect your approach?
Do you follow a text book method or do you feel your way into it?

I saw that play this weekend in Shakespeare in the Park, and I have to write about the performance. I'm stuck on the Language. The language is formal, but I have no idea what to call it. Olden language? Heh, they say, "Thee, thy, thou..." Is that called diatonic?

I'm studying acting and have been in contact with other aspiring actors. What bothers me is that a lot of them kind of already have a very dry perspective of looking at movies and live performances. They tend to have a lot of self-confidence and an arrogant air to judge anything else that they don't participate in. I don't see things like that, and sometimes feel out of place because I don't pick at things like that. I love to enjoy movies and get attached to them. I do like to see myself as the character and what I would say or do to change the plot. I guess, I like to believe more than criticize. I'm just not that technical about it. For me acting is about passion and connecting with another human being.
So, am I thinking the wrong way?

If it's not a site that discusses all sorts of books, I'd prefer one geared towards the classics.

Also please don't tell me to do a search for them, because I have and I never have any luck with internet searches.

Thanks! :D
