I tried writing him a letter after reading his biography, but my letter was rejected because I had no specific address. Even a P.O. Box? Thanks.

When people die, it is said that the soul is released from the body and it flows freely, but then isn't there a possibility that the soul isn't even in the body in the first place? I'm curious to hear what other people think.

I went to a concert for the first time since I was 9 last night, and was really intrigued by the lighting. I am the tech director in my highschool's drama club, so I recognized most of the lights used as PARs, but they were using another type of light that I did not recognize. They were hanging, moving lights that shot out focused beams. There were also some on the floor of the stage that had less focused beams. I don't think that they are really used in theatre lighting, probably just in concerts. I was just wondering if anyone knew what these were called. I'm a complete techie, and I like to know as much as possible.
Thanks!

I'm thinking about Britain but if you know about an area that is similarly seasonal your info is welcome. So what I'm wondering is what did people eat during the winter, did every family have its own food store, or was it managed by a town, or a local ruler? How did people ration it out, and what were the economics involved? It's just a matter of curiosity.

Isn't it funny how the word "politics" is made up of the words "poli" meaning "many" in Latin, and "tics" as in "bloodsucking creatures?"

i dont need so much sun
i want to stay
in the northside on window
in the country side of emotions
Later i want to escape in the arms of the night

In the Harry Potter books, the Weasley's are always worrying about how to pay for school supplies, right? But they never say anything about tuition cost. In fact, paying for the actual schooling and housing never comes up anywhere. Are we just supposed to assume that tuition at Hogwarts is free?

Some Say I'm Brainwashed
By Semper Fi 83 8/11/07

When you say I'm brainwashed,
Does that mean my thoughts are clean?
You read my mind somehow,
And failed to find something mean?
Just because I praise the Lord,
You laugh, point, ridicule,
Or yawn at me like you're bored.

That only makes me love God more!
Behold! He stands knocking!
Who will open up the door?
Lord I will, I will, open my heart.
I pray thee Father,
Let nothing tear us apart.

I need you,
Like I need air to breathe.
Am I brainwashed,
If I pray on my knees?

Am I brainwashed,
If I cherish Your Word.
Am I brainwashed,
That when you called, I heard!

Then let me be Father,
Totally washed of the brain!
For i will never use Your Holy Name in vain!
