The best students always get the hardest tests because they can handle them and that is in life not the classroom only :))

I know that some authors have written their way out of deep depressions. I've been having a hard time writing lately. Does anyone have any advice on how to turn depression/pain into fictional writing? I'd just like some tips, if you've got any. Thanks!

I love to act, sing and dance, but I'm not sure I can go to California. But, I really would like a chance to act, sing and dance in movies, TV shows and commercials.

One stranded tear rolls down her right cheek and falls down on the collar of her new dress. She looks at him with those saddened eyes in complete disbelief. Is this really happening? No. It can’t be. He would never do something like this to her. But reality is beginning to catch up with her. She is just starting to know the truth though she really doesn’t want to hear it right now. Everything was perfect. She was going to tell him that she loves him. And now he does this to her? She sighs deeply as another tear is forming at the corner of her eye. “I’m sorry” he says in a quiet voice. He then puts a hand on her shoulder and walks out of her life forever. She is now abandoned in this dreary street. The rain pours down on her. The dress she just bought for him is soaked with the water. She can not stand any longer for her knees have just given out, so she collapses to the hard rocky asphalt. She holds her head in her hands and weeps. She would rather die than feel this way. Why did he do this? How could he?

i'm not really good in writing even if i enjoy it so could you comment on this one.

looking through our album
i remember our past
we were so happy
in everything we do

a teardrop fell
as i continue to reminisce
the past we have shared
the warmth i had felt

i tell you my problems
you listened intently
you were always there
and never gave up on me

a perfect friend
is what you are to me
for you have helped me
on my long journey

another tear
rolled down my cheek
as i gaze at the stars
and went back to reality

you're no longer here
it has been months
since you left me
and i miss you still.

I went to my acting class today, and I've learned a lot. My acting teacher said that acting is supposed to make the person feel awkward and uncomfortable, and that we are put in these situations a lot of the time. If you conquer the awkwardness does that help you become a better actor or actress. I agree with his statement, but I want you to share your opinions.

I have been kind of wanted to act for a while now, and i am 14. i did musical theater when i was younger, and i am a dancer. i do not want to be an actress when i grow up, but the whole industry intrigues me. i live close to LA, but i don't want to fall behind in my studies my first year of high school. and i asked my mom, and she said no. should i bother to try and convince her, or should i just let this pass? i don't know what to do.

basically I've got this cut on my head that I don't know where it came from. this is beside the point. the problem is that I have been self consciously pick at it and it's not just that. you know those things you pull up and down a curtain with. will I'm sitting on the couch. I end up playing with it like a cat without realizing it. OK. thats an over exaggeration but I do little things like that and those things make my mom crazy.

they don't just drive her crazy. they drive me crazy. so my question is. how do I stop these self conscious things I do?

Haha - no need to comment. I just finished scanning a slide and uploading it to Flickr. The only retouching or alteration was to remove dust and fingerprints.
