Strange turn of events for me - had a big family, everyone was real close - done a lot of things in my life and lived in many places - had many good friends -- but within a span of around five years, I lost contact with past friends & my family members all happened to pass away, all from natural causes -- REALLY STRANGE to basically find myself an "orphan" with almost no contacts! Sort of like some kind of movie "plot" that I could ever imagine ever happening to me. What would you do if suddenly you had no one? No ties - no obligations - no reason.... but you could go anywhere & do anything? Or not? Or, why? Where would you go? How?

I read the book and recently saw the movie and for some reason, I must've missed something.

What was Dolores Umbridge's motive for making the lives of the Hogwarts students miserable? Why was she "in denial" about using spells in the Defense of the Dark Arts class? Why did she insist that there was nothing to worry about? Was she "in cahoots" with Voldemort (I really doubt this but I'm just asking)?

I am trying to find out how much a pope gosser china plate is worth. It has a lighthouse calendar on the front from 1910. On the back it says
"Compliments of Sponge Exchange Bank
W.F Aker, Prese.
L.P Fernald, Vice-Pres.
A.M. Lowe, Cashier."
I have looked all over and can not find a plate with this on the back. If any one has any ideas please let me know.

Cant yall talk or type normal? Like if someone asks," Why is the sky blue?" If there had been no war and they had been allowed to secede did they plan on claiming some of the land in the west or would the have been content with what existed in the seceding states. Did anyone even think about it at the time? Did the South know that the North would fight a war to preserve the union?
