You can sign up with places like ActorsAccess and NowCasting, and submit for work. Of course I am assuming that you live in the LA area. But there are tons of actors using these sites and the chances of getting booked on anything through them is next-to-none. But here are the links if you are interested:

These three are all LEGIT and NOT a scam. They are widely used by Casting Directors in Los Angeles.

Now Casting is by far the most widely used by casting people, even more so than actorsaccess, plus they have a whole lot of other very useful resources, etc.:

This is Breakdown Services listings for actors:

And LA Casting:

*NOTE*

NYGal is WRONG

Now Casting, and LA Casting are NOT scams. Just go to http://www.playersdirectory.com (this the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences directory for actors. And read about how Now Casting has taken over the Players Directory.)

I am sickened by all of the BAD ADVICE I see in here!

Legitimate auditions, are only availale on ActorsAccess.com and Backstage.com. Anything else is a scam.

Yes, you can still (learn to spell correctly) get a fake agent online that will charge you a lot of money. Actors must know how to spell words correctly. Legitimate Talent Agents do NOT charge money.

Agents do NOT know this site exists.
