Arts & Humanities - 17 July 2007

Well, I have this great idea(s) for a story (a whole trilogy) that had been trapped in my mind for 3 years now. I've written some of the scene in my notebooks and stuff. But sometimes I keep losing them (but the story is still fresh in my mind though). It's there. It's just that I don't have enough time to sit down for hours and write (I'm 15 and I need to study for this year exams).

What should I do? I know I can't just write it down. It took JK Rowling like 4 (i think) years after she get the idea for Harry Potter for her to write the first book. I also know that JRR Tolkien have this dictionary-thick notebook.

What should I do? Should I wrote the name of all the characters, settings and stuffs? If I have the notebook, what should I write in it? How do I know if I'm ready to write the story? How should I start? What should I do?

Everyone thinks they are cute from the start
Those soft stuffed toys you buy at Walmart
People set them around like they’re works of art
But when I see them I tear them apart

When no one is looking, I leap into action

Will the other wizards from a distant country help england? as Dubledore had gone, nobody thwarting Voldemort no longer.
we know Beuxbatons and Durmstrang for sure. will they help, in some way?

Here's my proof: despite the obvious evidence in the previous six books, my dad has a PhD in philosophy and told me so (he's read the first four books), and yesterday I saw two trees growing together and they looked like Harry and Voldemort shaking hands and smiling.

This upcoming year I'll be directing the student-led show at my high school and I'm looking for a comedy with less than 6 people, preferable 2 or less male characters, that'll be understood by the high schoolers who come to see it. I can get a little out there but not too risque, as my school is pretty conservative, even when it comes to the arts. Help?

Please, this is not meant to be rude or anything, but Pope Benedict scares the bejeezus out of me. I see those pointy teeth and ears and those dark circles under his eyes and all that white hair and I wonder if the guy travels with a large coffin shaped crate filled with dirt and if he is from Transylvania instead of Germany. Lately, I have been wondering if he is the albino monk Silas all grown up. Is anybody else scared of him or is it just me? I hear he is coming to NY next year and I am outta here that week!! Ok so let me tell you what happened to me this week. I was watching mtv like a few days ago and this comercial came on talking about acting and all I had to do was call the number they had on the TV. ( From ages 4 - 12, and 13 - 17 ) is what they was lookin for. So I called the number and the lady set me up for an audition to become an actor. this was 2 days ago and the audition is this week. the funny thing is they only played that comercial 1 time through out the whole day. Never seen it again since then.So does anyone have advice or wisdom to share with me like things that I should know before going in to audition and things there looking for???
