i just wanna no if actors need a portfolio too for agencies and all that and if they do what is the difference bettween modeling and acting portfolio like in pictures, thnx

No, actors have headshots, resumes, and demo reels (clips of your work on DVD) Usually when you are looking for an agent, you send your pic, res, cover letter & reel if you have one. Most people don't have a reel if they're just starting out, but you gather what you can as you build your resume and update your reel as you get more jobs.

A model's portfolio is a book of photos and clippings showing his/her work. An actor doesn't do that.

Some actor's do hire services to clip all of their publicity information, but that's not the same thing.
