ok so I was writing a poem about how foolish war was after reading an amazing inpirational WW2 poem by an author named Talia W. Parker and it inspired me to right one of my own so after 2 hours of Idea's I finall have the first draf ready it's a little clunky but I NEED HELP ON THE LAST LINE, I DONT KNOW A GOOD LINE TO END MY POEM WITH, I want to give the message in that last line but I dont know how HELP!

here it is


Ice cracks, dogs bark
Tires screech, the fire sparks
Lights blink, the wind blows
Heart's bleed they'll never stop
There is no lullaby left in this nightmarish game
The men argue, do they know what has changed
Lightning strikes as the women screams
Some praying for all this to be a bad dream
A veil of shadows blocks the twilight sky
Innocent Blood has smeared from every battle cry
You see the grins; you can feel the wrath
You're all alone; in this psychopath
you grab the gun, giving the world one last kiss
Thunder crashes, with no one left to miss
the clocks ticks, the hour strikes
Such fools are we not knowing wrong from right
The scene is set it all goes black,
The curtain raised the final act.
Sirens raging in the night,
sounds of horror, gasps of fright.
Intense pain, the smell of blood
tearing eyes begin to flood.
They pull out bodies one by one,

i am 50% Polish and 50% German, and i have blond hair & blue eyes. however, my mom has brown hair and green eyes, and my dad and sister both have brown hair and brown eyes. how did i end up with blond hair/blue eyes? do Polish and German people usually have blond hair & blue eyes?

I have been involved in theatre since my sophomore year of high school. I have done lights (both setting and running the board), set construction, stage manager, floor/run crew, assistant director, and assistant prop master. I am interested in pursuing a career in technical theatre and I'm just wondering what the best way to do that is? Do I need to go to college and major in theatre? Is there a way to get a job in the field without finishing college? I'm from a small town in the midwest, do I need to move to the coast or to a bigger city? Thank you in advance for your advice!

It's written from the perspective of an off-world being. Does it give you a visual image? Do you want to see more of it, or should I stop wasting your time?

In the Northern Hemisphere of the third planet from a small primary, there is a long and narrow island. A female biped, species Homo Sapiens, is walking across the sand toward the ocean. She is a maker of stories, some real and others fiction based on reality.

Story-making is ofen a solitary profession and she is feeling the need for companionship. Although she is intrigued with mystery, when she is not making stories, she believe in being straightforward. This is why she looks neither to the right nor to the left, but keeps her eyes focused on the incoming tide.

I hear a lot of stories that the Western Allies won the land war in Europe in World War II by using their numerical superiority (i.e. four Shermans to knock out one Panther?). What about one-on-one combat? Were there any variants of the Sherman or the British infantry tanks capable of holding up against any of the German Panthers, Tiger I or Tiger II in one-on-one combat?

I want to read a good book at a more mature level I guess...sex...sex...drugs...im a guy. I want a book similar to Trainspotting...I really like the concept of it but it's in a very thick accent and really hard to read, more annoying than anything...

books like Choke by Chuck P, Reqrieum for a Dream...good books. I have a 10 hour plane ride next week and I want to be entertained!

I think if I die right now, the world will stop having problems because I won't be around.

The world don't need me, and I don't need the world.

Just take one second and look at all the problems in the world, just look at it. I really do think my death will solve the world problems. This world is going under, and I don't want to be a part of it.

So when I am not busy, I am going to go on to heaven and be with God, and maybe he will see what type of world he created.
I will tell God all the problems in the world, and maybe he will send everyone to heaven.

...working on a black light special F/X project, & need a type of material. Here's what I'm doing: I have built a posterboard framework, big enough to fit in an average-sized window; the window itself, is covered in a black felt material, and framed by curtains. Strung vertically across the framework, are 3 layers of black nylon thread, w/each layer an inch apart, and each thread length 1/2 inch apart from each other. On each layer of threads, I am affixing glow-in-the-dark stars, eyes, whatever, with the larger ones on the front layer, and the smaller ones, progressively back. When I shine a black light on this for a short period, this will, of course create an eerie 3-D effect.

...looking for material, kinda like the stuff used to make woman's stockings, to cover the front of the framework, so that in normal light, the illusion will be just (or almost) blackness, but when the black light is introduced, the glow-in-the-dark material will shine through.

...any ideas???

It's in Australia - Victoria. I was gonna use Melbourne but I think I'd rather make up my own. I'd feel more in control then, and wouldn't have to worry so much about mistakes!
Can you suggest anything that might help - any "do's and don'ts?
Oh and I want it to be a city, rather than a town, so:
1. How much of a population do I need to have for it to be classified a city and
2. How much of a population would I need to have so that it could have a university?
