I'm going to audition next january, for several colleges/unis in America, and I need two classical and two contemporary monologues. (They also need to be contrasting, round the age from 18-30. and preferably not overdone).
I'm having a difficult time finding first of all where I can look for these monologues ('cause I can't read every play ever written!) and what would suit me, all I know is I need a dramatic and a comic monologue, something with a tough character and a soft/frail one.
If ANYONE has an idea that springs to mind. PLEASE let me know.
MY question is: could anyone suggest plays, and or where to easily find them. Thank you =)

I know there are trusts and funds for people in poverty, but they're not able to do enough, do you think the money donated to saving animals such as the rhino, panda etc. would be better utilized if donated to a fund for human lives. I mean, are animals more important than humans? would the world end if the panda or the rhino went extinct?

Arent we the most important species on the planet. Its not like we eat all the animals we save, so its not that we're trying to repopulate the food source so we wont starve.

ive been reading up on the law of attraction lately, I see the most effective state of mind to pratice the LOA is to know, to feel the way you would if you achieve that goal. For instance im moving to LA to do comedy, ive never once ever doubted myself that I will be famous, ive always known its not possible for me not to be famous. I thought about this the other day, I think im going to be famous when millions fail? Thats insane right? Well ive known that fact, but its never applied to me. Im 100% sure I will be famous and have never even considered the possiblilty that I wouldnt, and I realized this is what it takes to do the LOA successfully. My subconsious is not doubting myself, nothing is......but thats because I know. So to mimic this thought in other real life situations seems hard on certain task. But am I right here when I say "dont doubt just know"?
