Depends on how you define "impossible." If impossible is defined with the time line of "ever" , or "eternally" then impossible is truly impossible. However, I impossible is defined in the here and now, then "No" impossible may not be always be impossible.

Consider, for example, in the late 19th century, could anyone conceive of a human traveling 30,000 Ft./ Sec. Would that have been possible. Probably not, but in the 1960's the SR 71 Blackbird was built and flown in excess of that speed without killing the pilot.

My point, and I do have one, is that impossible can indeed become possible given time unless time itself is the constraining factor.

At any given time, from any given point of view, the impossible is by definition not possible. However, an oxymoron such as the possible impossible may hide a great truth. For example, it might mean that what was impossible at a given time became possible at another time or what is impossible from a given viewpoint is actually possible from a better viewpoint.

Possible and impossible are like light and dark, heat and cold. One is simply defined as the absence of the other.

There is no measure of cold, only the absence of heat. There is no impossible, only the absence of possible. And what makes things possible is knowledge of how to make it happen or how it happens on its own.

So to answer your question, yes, it is possible for impossible to BECOME possible, but by the very act of doing so, it ceases to be impossible. You've simple moved along the singularity.

Through a process of intellectual or cognitive functioning anything is possible. The difference though is in what is considered possible can be in any way probable.

It is possible through logic and reasoning, to propose that a Pink Pixie exists on Mars. It is another matter to factor in reality and the probability of this being true.

It is possible that we could both be killed by a bus tomorrows. Is this probable, unlikely.

All things are possible for those in Christ Jesus. What is impossible with man, is possible with God. It's a question of faith to believe. Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, (about the size of a full stop) you can say to a mountain go throw yourself in the sea, and it will be done.

Somethings are impossilbe, such as flying in a rocket to the centre of the sun; it would be too hot. However, somethings that are called impossible are, in fact, possible.

When walking home the other day, my sisters friend asked 'What are you wearing to prize giving?' I told her I was wearing a dress, she replyed 'A dress would look great on you!' - I hardly ever wear dresses - 'What is your sister wearing?'
'Some linen trousers and a top'
'See if you can perswade her to wear a dress, I've never seen her in one!'
My sister NEVER EVER wears shirts or dresses.
'Thats impossible' I told her
'True' she said, for she knew that my sister never wears dresses.

However, somehow I did perswade her to wear a dress - she looked fab! And to think, the otyher day I had said it was impossible.

you can, in some cases, to make the impossible, possible.

That only depends on the definition of impossible here, one could argue the impossibility might only exist within one’s reality, then again, your reality might not be mine, and thus, it could be that your impossible is my possible

Yes, nothing is impossible, so if at least one thing is impossible, then it's possible.
