That way what they believe will have taken place
And we'll give it to everybody who has some faith.

They'd say that it was typical to do so. And they will scorn you for being such a hypocrite by judging who has a right to food and who has not.

I think thats an interesting idea. But I think that every person, religious or cynic alike, has faith. More than anything what people have is potential. Instead of taking away food, why not give them more? Maybe this world would be a more pleasant experience if we gave and shared instead of judging and condeming. People arent one thing and nothing else. That's what potential is all about.

Due to my love of food and cynicism, during your attempted robbery you would get stabbed with a fork, and hear me saying something about your hypocrisy of faith and generosity because you would rather steal than earn your food.

You're saying being cynical deserves punishment, while having faith deserves reward. Presumably, you talk as someone with faith?

Having faith is to feel something and feeling something is intuitive. Hitler's intuition was that killing Jews is good - does that make him right?

Feeling something strongly isn't enough - we have to make sense of what we feel. I don't see the sense in wanting to punish someone who feels something that I don't.

That was tried in Greece 2,500 years ago, and it didn't work out too well then.
