I want to read a good book at a more mature level I guess...sex...sex...drugs...im a guy. I want a book similar to Trainspotting...I really like the concept of it but it's in a very thick accent and really hard to read, more annoying than anything...

books like Choke by Chuck P, Reqrieum for a Dream...good books. I have a 10 hour plane ride next week and I want to be entertained!

Bringing Down the House is about a bunch of MIT guys who figured out how to card count in blackjack and took a bunch of casinos for a ride. It's nonfiction but it's an entertaining read. Definitely a guy kind of book. Another one is just called The Game and is basically about guys who become master players.(women not cards) Kind of a tongue in cheek manual. My fiance liked both of them and he definitely has a dude's taste in literature. For something more high brow I might suggest Catcher in the Rye. Young man's perspective, classic novel about disillusionment.

American Psycho, Fight Club, A Million Little Pieces, A Piece of Cake, My Friend Leonard...all "guy" books...there is also "How to Make Love like a Porn Star" by Jenna Jameson...which actually isn't bad!

Try finding some books by Charles Bukowski - Post Office and Women are fine tales of low life America, full of beer, sex and good humour.

I loved the Sleeping Beauty books by Anne Rice, only she wrote them under a pseudonym - I think, Anne Rule. It's three books in a series. Very....specialized....it's my thing, and I hope it can be yours :-)
