Their country is lot bigger and has lots of population, Wha caused them to lose the war? The japanese captured each city one by one. Was it because the soldiers were poorly trained? or was it poor firearm equipments?

...and then they are VOTED the most correct answer- give me a break!

Am I the only one that witnesses so many people answer the question and never ever cite a single source or reference? When they do it is often times wikipedia (many of its articles lack a single source or reference)

Many people also plagiarize (steal someone's work without proper attribution). Also, people that practice the NO SOURCE answer will never graduate from college.

Learn young and get in the habit of QUOTING RELIABLE SOURCES AND REFERENCES (8

You know what I would love to see? Your answer can NOT be posted until you quote your source!

SOFTNESS
(for Jeffrey)

What softness is
I thought I knew;
I thought, a gentle hand,
Until one time
When you shone through
And softness felt like man.

What softness is
So many times
I had presumed, myself,
But when entrusted,
Mine was no more soft
Than your own wealth.

Gentility,
Fragility,
We master what we feel.
So softness is our master
Leading flesh to inner yields.

What softness is
I thought I knew;
But it is relative.

Our only measure is
Not to measure
What we have to give.

I had a dream that Midnight Sun (Stephenie Meyer) was released and I rushed out to buy it, which is like impossible at the time being. Well, I read the first chapter of Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's website, and I think it's going to be quite entertaining. Supposedly there's New Moon in Edward's version, maybe it would be more fascinating as it tells us where Edward actually went when he disappeared and stuff.

Do you think Midnight Sun would eventually be published? I mean, there's still Breaking Dawn to go and stuff...

Visions and dreams are painted
on the canvas of the heart to be replayed.

Joy and tears enter,
brush strokes so fine and detailed

Into the depths are the lines and shadows,
with glint and glare

Like the heart that beats.
The river that flows.
Motion, life is given to our memories

fore ground, back ground.
heaven and earth
heart and soul

For the picture love has painted
in our always stays
Love never dies.

I like Harlan Coben, James Patterson, Michael Connelly, Dean Koontz etc. but I've read everything by all of the bestselling authors. Can anyone recommend some new authors I might like?

The event had been recorded in historical accounts as involving Isaac Morley, a leader of 225 settlers sent to Nephi by Brigham Young, the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

``We have the personal journals of two women who witnessed this event and described it as a heinous act of murder,'' said Rood. ``This is a great example of archaeology and history coming together.''

I just finished my freshman year in High School and I want to start cheerleading my sophomore year. What do I need to do? Do you think it's too late to try out? Is it bad to go and try out if you've never had any experience?

I have a new acoustic guitar and I am completely new to music. I have been wanting to play for over 3 years but I never got around to buying a guitar. Now that I have one i'm puzzled. I was on a budget, I bought a Washburn acoustic for about $150. I heard that when you get a new guitar (especially a low-budget) you should take it to a music store and have them fix it up. Is this necessary? If so what should I tell the people or anything I should ask for? Price Range? I'm really new to this, however I'm serious about continuing this for life. Any other tips would be great! Thankyou.
