The Swiss Guard in the Vatican and still have! Wow colour!

Out of the Combatants.... German Uniforms where good to start with but became very ragged and once the cloth became scarce and they started getting poor fitting clothing it did not help.
The British Army Uniform was heavy and practical, but if wet was a real weight.
The Americans had a multitude of Uniforms, but only made them look more like gangsters.
But My money is on the Gurkha's always looked good especially in parade Uniform.

Yeah, IL go with most of the other immoral answers and say the Nazis. They were always very propaganda minded, so they wanted to look smart when destroying other peoples countries and subduing the populace.
Its interesting to note the shear variation of their uniforms too, much more than any other nation. They must have had hundreds if not thousands of variations on a basic uniform, including a type of camouflage pattern that has been revived in recent years by the modern German army.
If they had simplified it to just wearing a basic overall or something they might have saved themselves alot of supply problems. But then, thats wouldnt have been very German, would it?

Nazis. They were the first to have camoflague uniforms and their helmet design is used by modern militaries today such as the USA. There dot patterned camoglague design are closer to the digital designs of today than any of the dpm patterns in between.
Those ski caps of theirs were pretty cool looking too, though they came originally from Sweden.
The SS parade uniform which was black with white webbing and silver decorations is one of the best uniforms outside of the US Marine blue dress uniform and the British household cavalry.

The Americans always looked smartest in their best uniforms, The nicely pressed gabardine was a completely different appearance to most other allied uniforms.Mind you in their work attire the Yanks were very slovenly. And their bearing on parade was terrible.I know the elite units were very smart but the ordinary units the drill and marching and the bearing was abysmal.

All navy officers in summer dress uniform, the American pilots in dress uniform, and the German "Panzertruppen" in the close fitting black uniforms of the beginning of the war.

No one. WWII uniforms were not very functional in terms of either cut or camouflage. Suffice it to say that ammunition and personal medical kits were supposed to be carried around in shoulder bags, not in pockets, as is the norm today. Bags flapping around often made soldiers clumsy on the battlefield.

Body armor was a novelty; very few soldiers were strong enough to carry it (Soviets' first attempt at body armor was actually made at special units that were formed temporarily using cadets from officer schools, who tended to be well-fed and athletic; they were the only ones who could actually do any fighting in it). Helmets were common, but in most cases no good against bullets.

Fabrics weren't particularly good, either. For winter, most armies issued knee-long felt overcoats rather than half-thigh cotton-padded jackets common today.

Footwear... Laceless boots destroyed socks, so many armies that issued those required them to be worn with foot wraps rather than socks.

About the only exception to the above was pilot battle dress...

I believe the navy did.
We had many in the military and the sharpest looking uniforms were the Navy.

The Air Force has the best now.

The SS, the leaders and their ideology was evil, but they sure looked good in their black uniforms, (used to be gray in the first years)
