sorrry i do not have much info.. here it is i hope somebody can help.. there is a gate with a quote on it.. ok.. this is famous for one reason.. here is the question.. What was written on the gate above where soldiers passed to go and fight the North Koreans and Red Chinese?

there is a quote above it and i need it.. idk where it is or what the name of the gate is either.. im sorry.. its not in my history book or anything.. it is driving me crazy.. anybody who can tell me will get 10 pts b/c they will get best answer..

If time cannot be measured how do we know it exists? can anyone prove it exists? does time only exist in our heads?why does it only able to go forwards? why not backwards? One of my friends (she is an okay friend to me) wants me to go to the movies with her and A LOT of people that i know, but aren't very good friends with. I really don't know where to begin... I read this book about 15 years ago so I guess it may have been around the year 1992 -- But I know for sure that the book was written at least 30 to 40 years before that.

All I can remember about the book it is that contained stories of Brer Rabbit & Tar Baby and that it also contained old spirituals or hymns. One particular song was about a patter roller.

It also contained many jokes and old southern recipes. I remember 2 of them. One of them was a joke about a blind woman walking past a fish market and the other was about a man and his friend talking about his wife.

I know this may not be alot of information but it is all that I remember. I'm hoping someone can help me because I lost this book years ago and have been searching for it for years.
