We are an Ingsoc in a watered down kind of way. It is a cult for the world of things and their social symbolization.

Britian seems to be moving in that direction, but Americans are too independent to tolerate such a state.

1984 is science fiction.This is reality so I doubt that would ever happen.1984 just helped create even more conspiracy theorists.People should remember that it is science fiction.
