Um, this is a pretty unusual question.
First, you should probably get an agent. I know, right, there's an agent for TV and movie stars, but for wannabe authors?
Anyway.
Agents are optional, but they're a really good idea - it saves you a lot of trouble. Keep in mind that the agent, like the publisher, has to approve of your work. Not the end of the world if you're rejected. J. K. Rowling was, about four times.
Moving on.... If you get an agent, you pretty much just wait patiently until a publisher approves. If, for some reason, absolutely NO publisher is interested, it would be recommended to - er - check your agent's resume.
Once (assuming it'll happen) your agent finds a decent publisher, you should get ready to, you know, talk with a lot of people so that you can get everything ready to publish.
That's about it!

You need a Literary agency to read it. If they like it, they will submit your manuscript to a publisher, to see if they have an interest in publishing it. It's not easy to get a book published, unless you want to self-publish.
