The best place to buy it, If y'all have one, is Costco. It's always cheaper than Wal-Mart and other book stores. My dad always bought mine from there, but I'm pre-ordering the 7th one from Amazon.com, so I can get it faster...

You have to apply before you can join and only members of the group can see your stories. When I was accepted, Yahoo! Groups sent me a form saying that even though my story wasn't copywrited, it was still safe since Yahoo! Groups considers it copywrited when you post something through them. Even so... is this safe? I desperately want to be published someday and I know that to do so, I should NOT copywrite my story until it sells to a publishing house. However, I would be absolutely crushed if someone else published all my hard work under their name. What is the right thing to do in this situation?

Hi,
I am trying out my new Digital SLR. I am taking a picture of a person in shade, with a bright landscape background.
What settings would avoid me doing this. I know flash solves this problem and post-processing (photoshop) can also help. I want to do it without either flash/photoshop.

Can you give me some tips on how to get the faces bright and vivid colors on the background?

Thanks.

I was wondering about this.....

A grave takes alot of room. And I don't know of any grave being destroyed or moved....that is definately frowned upon in our society...Does this mean one day, the world will become one big cemetary??

Among African-Americans, birth out of wedlock is now 67%. This was not always the case. What happened?

a slave girl on her birthday is chosen to be the successor of this old guy... whose job it is to find places to dig coal. because the world is a mess where the sun is blocked out by dark clouds. oh and all slave class kids are branded at 12 or something like that... some kind of brand that covers one of thier eyes. through the course of the book she find out the truth of how the slave class came to be (they were conqured and made into slaves by a invading civilization). she also developes a method of warming your own body through meditation so that the country is no longer dependant on coal to warm them. well thats about all i remember... :p i know it's over 10 years old and a kind of sci-fi genre...

I prefer authors like James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, and Richard Montanari. I am presently reading John Grisham's "A Time to Kill" (pretty good so far). Anyone have any suggestions that will keep the little bit of free time I have interested in a book?
