Bad things happen to everybody. Good, Bad, Ugly. Some people are just better at handling bad, others just don't recognize the probability of being in the wrong place at the right time. Naive.

bad things happen to all people, weather that person is good or bad, but remember nobody is good or bad, we all are good and bad, it is the way it is, bad things happen, they just do, and that is the way it is, live with it, or go live in a cave (i dont mean you, i mean people in general). Also, as much as we dont see it, good things happen often, so smile, shrug off the bad, and accept the good.

What makes you think good people are immune to the laws of physics, Murphy's Law, random acts of violence or other calamities? It's not rational, bad things happen to all people, you sound as if there's a pre-ordained plan or reason for why things happen.
Do the tectonic plates worry about who's bad and good, who's riteous and evil...when they come crashing into each other and cause human calamities? Will that planet killing asteroid worry about good and bad people when it comes crashing into the earth causing world wide destruction? ....dont' make me laugh.

Bad things happen to ALL people. Bad things have no brains.
They don't pick and choose who they will attack next.....It's just
being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong
people. It's making wrong decisions. Its thinking your body
is non-breakable.
If you want good things to happen most of the time--Take time
to make good decisions and be in safe places with non-violent
people.

Why do good things happen to bad people? The universe cares not about who is good or bad. It cares about itself and the balance that it maitains to exist in and of itself.

Provides contrast.
contrast- to compare or appraise in respect to differences.
If bad things only happened to bad people, good people wouldn't know the difference

Our learned defensive egos are always chaotic. The multi-dimensional reality in which we are embedded, responds to all those hidden beliefs whether we know they exist in our unconscious or not. They are extremely difficult to observe because they are insane and complex but beliefs only a vulnerable child could be convinced of. It's the real jihad within that has to be waged - to change our world (experience of reality).
