Scientific research has uncovered two different types of consciousness or "soul".

One is associated with a more materialistic or atheistic mentality, termed the "A soul " and the other is associated with a more spiritual, sensitive or religious mind, termed the "R soul ".

Do you think you are an "A soul" or an "R soul " ?

I'm writing a book (6 chapters so far). I was stuck in my character's flashback for a while but finally simplified it by skipping details at the end. The flashback was four chapters long and now I'm back in my character's present time. My 2 questions are 1.) should I just make the Flashback one big chapter and make the other chapters ACTS, or is that strictly for theatre and plays? and 2.) Do you think four chapters is too much for a flashback?(I think so..LOL)

Thanks!

Why does communism not work? It is based on the simple principals of equality that everyone can appreciate. Is it just the human factor that causes it to fail?

I'm thinking about getting a typewriter but I really need to know more about them--what kind of ribbon do I buy? What kind of ink do I buy? Does it matter? Are they heavy? The one I'm looking at says nothing but 'JACK KEROUAC TYPEWRITER 8 X 10 Photo Beats Ginsberg etc' and I don't know what that means either. Can anyone help me?

Please number them and make sure I can see which are the books and which are the authors. When writing the books can you also give me who wrote it. Thanks!

For all those wondering, I like anything fiction and I'm 16 but love to read books with over 1,000 pages. So don't let age limit your answers, if it's fiction and you like it write it down and if there's a nonfiction book you like I'll give it a try.

I've always loved the story of Rapunzel. But I had other favorites as well (i.e. Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid [Disney Version]). But my number one favorite was Rapunzel. Although, I often imagined I was the prince in each of the stories. But I would often imagine that I was Rapunzel's prince charming.

Anyways, I'm just reminiscing.

They surely do this time, even if four of the justices were either blind or on drugs.

The VPI shootings were terrible news, The liberals whining about bans on guns is sickening, I have a terrible backache, work is killing me, and I haven't had sex in a while, but when I saw the headlines on the Supreme Court decision to ban MURDER (read: partial-birth abortions), it was the culmination of something I have been advocating for many years. It isn't often in these times of money-chasing, blaming everyone but the guy in the mirror, and the all-about-me culture that one sees there are rational, sane and common-sensical folks in the world besides me. If more LIBERALS and superficial, selfish people would open their eyes and use their noggins, we wouldn't even have to have such a stupid "debate." Anyone who can watch a partial-birth abortion on film and say it isn't cold-blooded murder isn't a rational person.

C'mon Bush: get ONE MORE level-headed person on the SC!
