I like vampire books with sequels and an option is a love triangle.

Well I would recommend Charlaine Harris' ,Southern Vampire mysteries(Sookie Stackhouse vampire mysteries). I am absoloutely hooked on them and I always re read them. The main character is a telepath who cam hear everyone's thoughts except vampires(because they're technically dead) and she has a lot of hot vampire admirers!! these books are fantastic!!!!

You should definitely check out Got Fangs? and Circus of the Darned by Katie Maxwell. These are very good vamp romances (funny too).

The Morganville Vampire stories by Rachel Caine, Glass Houses and The Dead Girls' Dance are very good as well. The romance isn't with a vampire but I still highly recommend the books.

The Vampire Kisses books by Ellen Schreiber, Boys that Bite by Mari Macusi and Companions of the Night by Vivian Velde are all young adult vampire books with romance. Although they weren't my favorites, you might enjoy them.

Blue Bloods (can't think of the author's name at the moment) is also a fantastic vamp story, but not much in the way of romance.

Also, Stephenie Meyer has a short story in the new anthology Prom Nights From Hell. Not sure if it is a vampire story or not, but it should be good.

Here are some of the best vampire works I have read:
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Mina by Marie Kiraly
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles
Kim Harrison’s Rachel Morgan series about a witch who is a bounty hunter and works with a vampire and a pixie
Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Norville series about a werewolf radio talk show host
Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series about a wizard private investigator in Chicago
Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series

For Young Adults:
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman
Midnight's Choice by Kate Thompson, part of a trilogy that begins with “Switchers” and ends with “Wild Blood”
Companions of the night by Vivian Vande Velde

If you just want to kill some time and have some fun reverting back to childhood, check out The Bailey School Kids series by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones. They have some humorous titles like "Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots" and "Dracula Doesn't Rock and Roll".

I agree that The Historian is a very good book and can be romantic, but if you're looking for straight out sex and romance, I would try Sherrilyn Kenyon. I worked in a library and whenever I had to shelfread the K section, I would always grab her books for some distraction. I just saw that a new book of hers was released too.

try Jasper Fforde's Thursday next sequence, I even have in basic terms examine the 1st 3, they're hillarious and a might desire to for e book fanatics! The Eyre Affair lost in a sturdy e book The properly of lost Plots - in basic terms complete this one some thing Rotton First between Sequels no longer a vampire sequence even even though it relatively is an impressive sequence to envision. Or try The Circle trilogy by using Nora Roberts Morrigan's go Dance of the Gods Valley of Silence

Laurel Hamilton and Charlaine Harris both have written multiple vampire novels in romantic/erotic style. I personally like Hamilton more - YMMV.

I strongly recommend the DARK-HUNTER series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. She is an awesome writer and has phenomenal taste in leading men. She hasn't had a bad one yet!!! Christine Feehan also has a really good series called the "DARK" series. This is a Carpathian/Vampire series and I must admit her leading men also are quite yummy and sure to please!!! ENJOY!!!

It may not fit as much under romance, but The Historian is a great read.
