I wish i didnt sound so dumb asking this.
I just want to see if somebody there could provide a great answer for this.
What's with the CANVAS? It's easier to paint on THICK PAPER or any papers. And in Canvas is harder...

Who will teach me now that my fathers
Have gone with the buffalo?
Who will tell of times I wish I knew?
Who will direct my journey
So that I will come out right?
The years are clouds which
Cover my ancestors.
Let them sleep.
I shall find my way alone.

What is the metaphor?
What are the two things that the speaker compares? in what way are they similiar and in what way are they different?

Above are our homework. The questions really don't make sense to me.
I think there is a change in the speaker's attitude towards her future. but for the rest, i'm not so sure.

I am doing a paper over FDR's, Harry Truman's, and Dwight Eisenhower's presidencies and the Harry Truman chapter, which unfortunately has tons of unneeded material in it, is IMPOSSIBLY long. Paper is due today and please no ridiculing me for procrastination (I KNOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE EARLIER) and I desperately need help with Harry Truman.

My son & I have a GREAT bond ( much better than I ever had with my father ). I'd like it to be special, symbolic & unique. Could be lettering ( he likes tibet script ) or symbols or designs. We are open so long as it appeals to both of us & represent our father/son bond. Depending on the size & actual tatoo ( after choosing ), then we will decide on what part of the body it will go. So in your ideas to us, don't be limited to the traditional arm or shoulder. He will be 20 years-old in May 2007 & I'm in my late 30's. Thank you to all that reply.
