He went by "Big Daddy"! Ole Idi was a real sweet heart of a guy. He was so concious of people under his leadership that he even made arrangements for their burial plots to be free of charge! When he retired it was rumored that the French just loved him & provided a retirement for Big Daddy Amin, on the French Riviera no less!
He was also known for his intrest in population control so as to keep the geographical beauty of his countries natural beauty. He even made sure the cities were not over populated so as not to cause anguish amongst the city dwellers! A real peach of a guy, you'd probably love him for a neighbor! Otta read up on him I'm telling you!

Yes. The Brits and Americans invaded over Saddam Hussein, somewhat controversially (as he had not developed nuclear weapons as originally claimed although he was perceived to support terrorists). However, you can't deny that he murdered his people and bankrupted the whole country This is the same as Mugabe, so why aren't we doing something?. Can it be 'cos there's no oil there, no Moslems and the majority of the Zimbabeweans are black ie politics and economics South Africa could also be doing more. I understand they supply Zimbabwe with electricity. Also, who is supplying the Zimbabwean Regime (I don't think you can call it a Government without democratic election) with its weapons? A lot more could be done and not just by the Brits and USA.
