I am 25, I have never danced in a club or anywhere. I don't know how too. Its sucks because there really isn't much to do but drink and dance anymore. I wanna have more fun in my life. I think it would open me up more. Does anyone now where or how I can learn to dance? How do I get the ryhthm.

Boring as it sounds, dance classes are the best place to learn how to dance. It is hard to learn by immitating, especially for those who didn't find dancing to be one of their natural talents. In the dance class, they actually explain you how to find the rhythm and how to dance to it.

On the dance floor in the clubs other people barely notice whether or not you can dance. I think most of the people on the dance floor cant . Just close your eyes, listen to the beat. Feel the music vibrate through your body. And then let yourself go. Any movement will do. The beat will pulse through you causing your body to move and sway accordingly. Dont try , dont over do it. Just feel it, it will come to you. Watch everybody else! In clubs every dance is different and unique.

Snowflake's the top answerer in this category for a reason. I had a strong background in music, marched in high school band and the military, and never looked terrible on the dance floor, but professional instruction opened an entire new world for me. Spend some bucks, take some lessons, and have fun doing it.
