I really badly want to be in stuff, because I have always thought I would enjoy it,and now I think about it sucessful people like Tom Fletcher,Amy Winehouse,Matt Willis,Billie Piper(that's just one stage school and theres plenty more celebs that went to that school..) Christopher Eccleston,Catherine Tate..the list goes on and on..do you have to go to some kind of stage school to be an actor or a singer or whatever,Im almost 13 and I haven't done anything, and how can I become an actor or singer or something like that without knowing about auditions, all the websites are rubbish..

"Classics" have you actually read? Do you even enjoy them? Do you consider yourself to be well read? Just wondering as some people just assume everone has read them and know the story and very little people actually has, quite a boring question i know but...

Is it that society expects us to be happy for others that we gush & isn't it natural to feel relief when bad things happen to others & think 'thank god it didn't happen to me !' To what extent can we really be connected to another human being when finally we are all separate individuals ?

I am thankful that I live in a free country, where I can worship God as I please. I am thankful that I have my eyesight, and a well functioning body and brain. I am thankful that I have at least some food to eat.

But why is life so hard sometimes?

Right now, I am out of work, desperately and diligently trying to find a new job. I have no money. My car is in the shop, and the mechanic needs 900 dollars before I can get it back. My Mom has Carpal Tunnel, and can't work at the moment. We are suffering terribly in regards to finances. We are contemplating as to how we will pay for the rent next month...how we can buy food and medicine...and it's incredibly stressful.

Why is life so difficult?

I have heard so many people claim that war is the result of religious differences and racial hatred, but I am not convinced. I think that all wars are the result of economic and power struggles, with human constructs of race and religion being used to justify them. America is full of religious and ethnic differences, and yet it is not on the brink of civil war. The Arabs in the middle east are more closely related to the jews than they are to say, people in India or Europe, and yet states like Egypt have warred with Israel no end of times. Israel, being considerably wealthy, and powerful in the middle east. Surely the causes of war are entirely related to economics and power

I'm looking for books of a drama/morbid genre. The best way i can describe the kind of books i'm after is to use movie examples. American Beauty, The Safety in Objects, The Quiet and even Ghost World. Basically, the secrecy of 'normal' suburbian life, with the angst and introspective vibe. Not so much to do with teenage angst, something a bit more towards adult reading.
I'll appreciate any suggestions you can give me though sooooo go for it!
