I have heard so many people claim that war is the result of religious differences and racial hatred, but I am not convinced. I think that all wars are the result of economic and power struggles, with human constructs of race and religion being used to justify them. America is full of religious and ethnic differences, and yet it is not on the brink of civil war. The Arabs in the middle east are more closely related to the jews than they are to say, people in India or Europe, and yet states like Egypt have warred with Israel no end of times. Israel, being considerably wealthy, and powerful in the middle east. Surely the causes of war are entirely related to economics and power

The reason everyone fights in wars is because everyone has different ideas or what is right. Someone is feeding a dog pizza. Someone thinks its wrong. They would fight. Its a lot like that. War is just two kids in a sandbox, controlling the little action figures, and just trying to stop the other person because they want to win.

For the most part wars are caused by economic stress, or the megalomaniacal striving for power.
However, there are wars that were fought for religious or racial reasons. The Crusades were a perfect example. They were trying to recapture the holy land. There wasn't much to be gained by the Crusaders really, some prestige, but no real power. In fact, in order to convince nobles to go to far away lands and fight for the holy land the Church had to state that they would excommunicate any nobles that attacked the holdings of a neighbor that was off on a Crusade.
And while the tension in the middle east has an economic element to it, it is largely about religious differences. If the state of Israel had not been a Jewish state stuck right in the middle of the Arab world we probably wouldn't see the violence and aggression we do today.

No. custom does. That stated, many faiths traditionally have been infused with the custom. maximum in recent times are not, yet some are. i will supply an occasion: The Crusades. The cultures between Muslims and Catholics clashed, Muslims attacked help stations, Catholics spoke back via sending knights on over to take each little thing. The Bible says to not try this, however the custom strengthen into one that strengthen into ruled via conflict (maximum of people who went have been retired squaddies). So the religion strengthen into violated via the custom and strengthen into made a factor of that custom. the only time a faith could reason conflict is that if that faith can not exist in any custom. Buddhism could be everywhere and not reason issues, and clearly it hasn't led to wars. Christianity is the comparable. cutting-component Catholicism, and extra cutting-component religions additionally are the comparable. Islam isn't because of the fact it itself is a theo-political society. it truly is in basic terms heritage. A conflict is on no account approximately faith or perhaps own opinion. it truly is approximately greed and potential.

There is no underlying cause for all wars. Many international wars are said to be caused for humanitarian reasons, which is cause to go to war. But the only reason the countries do it is if they might benefit economically or power-wise. e.g. oil in the middle east. Civil wars are mainly about power, or an uprising of suppressed people. There are many reasons, but there is usually some underlying personally selfish reason.
