I'm a college student and my school doesnt have a very big art department. I used to take art classes but I dont have any this semester. I really love art and I need a resource(preferably a website) that lets me in on whats going on in the art world. I wanted to get a subscription to ARTnews, but I cant afford it right now. I am past magazine websites and some museum websites dont really help. Also, library access is kinda difficult. Anyone know any good websites or tips?

the greedy the people
(as if as can yes)
they steal and they buy
and they die for because
though the bell in the steeple
says Why

the chary the wary
(as all as can each)
they don't and they do
and they turn to a which
though the moon in her glory
says Who

the busy the millions
(as you're as can i'm)
they flock and they flee
through a thunder of seem
thoguh the stars in their silence
say Be

the cunning the craven
(as think as can feel)
they when and they how
and they live for until
though the sun in his heaven
says Now

the timid the tender
(as doubt as can trust)
they work and they pray
and they bow to a must
though the earth in her splendor
say May

I had a set of tins with the face of a beautiful dark-haired baby on my dresser when I was a baby. I have seen that same baby in a painting in the nursery on Father of the Bride 2. I have tried to Google it, but I can't remember the name of the company who made the tins, or the name of the artist or anything. They were just beautiful and I'd love to find them before I have a child!

I saw them in an antique store last year, and should have gotten them then. (Just for the record, I was a baby in the 80s, so I'm not totally sure what the deal is with the picture...I assume the stuff I saw last year was older than mine, but who knows?)
