The Golden Globes include television, documentaries, short films, and movies. They lead up to the mega Emmy/Oscar award. The Golden Globes are used as a guide to who might win the prestigious Emmy, since many of the same people are nominated. Sometimes, stars will make a surprise breakthrough, and win the Emmy, even though someone else in their category won the Golden Globe.

There is nothing more prestigious than being nominated for the Oscar statue at the Emmy's. This is also why the Emmy's is the last award show, much like a grand finale for the season. Hope this helps!

An Emmy -- the Golden Globes are nominated by a very small group of people: a handful of reporters for foreign newspapers who report on Hollywood. emmy nominations come from other professionals -- peers, such as other actors, or other writers, or other directors, etc.

Huh? One isn't necessarily "better" than the other. That is like asking which tastes better, an apple or an orange. It's all subjective and I can't see how this question (or ultimate answer) fits into some little movie review you're writing.

For me, I'd pick B.
Emmy's are for television, but Golden Globes are for movies. I love movies. Heh-heh.
