Draw a camel and then put a thick coat of fur on it....oh, and get rid of the humps! ; )

check out a few pictures of llamas for referance. The emporer's new groove has some awsome cartoon llamas in it.
The most distingusing things I noticed when drawing llamas where they have hips that are higher then their shoulders, and they have very large eyes and eye lashes.
refereance is the key to drawing things your not fermiliar with

try to draw a tall sheep with a long neck. llama's eyes are a bit bigger and their ears point up similar to a cat.
