I know the U.S.S.R no loger exsits just want to know if it was evil

I don't think it was evil. From time to time it was led by evil men. But as a government system it was not fundamentally evil. I think it was misguided and overly optimistic. Also, like any other totalitarian regime, it was easy for those that desired power to abuse.

First, the Soviet Union doesn't exist. Secondly, it is impossible to answer a question like this. Do you mean to ask whether the actions of the state are evil? Or whether all the people in the country are evil?

Like the above person stated, the Soviet Union no longer exhists. When it did exhist it was not evil, just communist. That is why you hear a lot of bad talk about the Soviet Union. A little thing called the cold war that started after WWII.

It no longer exists, so no. The Soviet Union ended as a country in December of 1991, and is now many different countries in Europe and Asia.
