born confused is about a girl who is born into a strict indian (hindu) family that moves to america. while in the us, she wants to do things that aren't allowed by her religion or her parents, like dating and wearing different clothes. that's what i got from the descriptions of it anyway. look it up on amazon.com...ther should be reviews and a brief summary. if you have to do a report on it, i suggest you go to your library and take it out. most libraries have it, it's a popular teenage chick book.
and it has nothing to do with tom cruise!
