I am trying to name the main charachter in my story, but cant seen to think of a really good one. The major charactor is a rich, beautiful girl, who is destined for a terrible fate. I need a name that sounds foreboding, but not obviously so. You know what I mean? I hope you do. She's blond with gray eyes, and she lived in the late part of the 19th century. Thanks so much!

I desperately need to find this book for my sister's birthday next week (eek!) only problem is i dont know the author or the title!! any help would be much appreciated!!! heres what i do know: its a chick-lit book. the paperback version has a green cover. its a sequel. the plot involves the girl relocating to the countryside, where she lets her house be used in a commercial (for dog food maybe??) and is unwittingly used in a scam to rob people by the commercial producer and her husbands ex. she is led to believe that she slept with the producer and she and hubby split up, but then of course the evil plot is exposed and they are reconciled. oh and there is an amusing scene involving a postage stamp and a gynaecologist. Again if you have the slightest clue i would be incredibly grateful!!!!

My friend showed me a site like this once and I drew a small picture, and then I clicked a button and it made the picture seem covered in cobwebs. I think that was the only effect there was. It was free and really simple. Does anyone know the name of the site or one like it? Thanks.

I've met several people who absolutely despise science fiction writing, but never really say exactly why. I think that some books, like the Foundation trilogy by Asimov and 1984 by George Orwell are absolute works of art. I'm just trying to get some opinions. Whether you do or don't like it, why? My Highschool always hosts a playfest for all of eastern Virginia. This year though, we have a new theater teacher(who is really good) but is not used to a highschool environment. I am ready to buy some genealogy software and am getting confused by reviews and what can do what.
I'd like to:

A. See me, my sibling and my grandmothers first cousins and aunts on a chart- (albeit a wide one!) (Not just me and direct ancestors)

B. Attach photos and input personal stories

C. Link to other trees on-line when a connection is made.

D. Attach info from Ellis Island.org, Ancestry.com and other on-line databases. (Does only Family Treemaker provide an import from Ancestry.com?)

E. Easy, user friendly interface. I'm not computer saavy. I need something easy to use.

F. Publishing capability a plus!
