I assume that this reasoning also applys to you, that you too are an illusion. So if you are an illusion then why consider ending your life? You are already not there!

Well I wouldn't want to end my life, so given that choice I'd choose to stay in the illusion but I should think that there would be a third choice: to go on living in real life, without the illusions. I would miss my love, but if he isn't real then I couldn't continue having a pretend relationship. I'm too much of a realist for that. I'm a dreamer with a practical side.

Luckily those I love are quite real & not an illusion.

If I was in the Matrix, yes I'd choose the red pill, and live in the horrible reality rather than take the blue pill & live a beautiful lie.

I love beauty but it has to be true. There is no point loving something that's not real. I would still love the illusion, I'd miss him. I'd mourn the loss but I would have to move on & find real love in the real world with a flesh & blood human not a ghost in a dream.

If i found out that my Life was all a illusion I'd keep living it knowing that it is an illusion, Yes i would still love my life and what happens in it because it's more than an illusion it would be how i chose to live my live plus I would not want to die even if life was all a dream or illusion because you'd have something to hang onto and life would go by just like any other person's life you didn't have illusions, because i'd love it either way.

Since its an illusion then why should I end it and die when I can enjoy it!
I don't agree in ending your own life since we're humans and there is A LOT in life to explore! I really don't get why do people suicide when they're feeling frustrated and in sorrow when they can turn the tables around only if they use their brains.
No matter how rough times a person is going through, its definitely not n excuse from him/her to end their lives.
So basically I'd stick to the illusion part.
Yes I would carry on living that illusion and try to bring the best out of it.

One can not love, or hate or miss or anything else something or someone that they've never had or wasn't real. Finding out that it was a lie is very different from being an illusion.

Live the illusion.

If it hurts me that much that they aren't real, I guess I might choose to die because I loved someone that much. But if I could still see them BECAUSE I loved him/her that much, if I could still visualize them in front of me perfectly the way before, I could live on loving him/her. Since the love has sort of in a way kept me alive like that (if it's really passionate). Love is a really complicated thing here. so I might want to die, but what if the theme of that person's "life" was to take the best of things, to move on, to follow the flow of life, to live the best life possible and don't mope pointlessly? then I would live on with or without the illusion to honor the person I love.

As the saying goes: I'm burnt out on reality and am searching for a good illusion :))

I do.

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.

This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.

At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.

We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.

These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.

From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.

I hope that helps to answered your question.

Love and blessings Don

Everything we experience in life is based on perception, and if that perception happens to be an illusion then enjoy it to the fullest lol!
