I just need a few ideas to get me moving. Here's the topic.

Discuss the theme of revenge. Which characters seek revenge and why? How do you think Dickens regards revenge?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP! :-)

Socrates was that fine third baseman for the 1937 Cleveland Indians. Whatever happened to him? I have asked this before, but I see people who go through life never asking why or looking beneath the surface. Without intellectual curiousity, what is there?

I beleive this is one of the most important quotes in lotr it was in rotk by sam

"In that hour of trial it was love for his master that helped most to hold him firm; but also deep down in his livid still unconquered his plain hobbit-sense: he knew in the core of his heart that he was not large enough to bear such a buren, even if such visions were not a mere cheat to to betray him."

What does this mean to you? i think its important because shows sams deep commitment to his master and his basic sense

considering the history since the dawn of human civilizations, we can conclude one thing. no system, no government, no civilization and offcousrse no ones forever. its been 230 years since usa came into existence and has been a super power for almost 60 years now. soviet became a superpower few yrs before the usa (technically) and collapsed in 1991. history repeats. chinese empire was a superpower untill late 1200's and later collapsed and again now seems its coming back, same with India.all the superpowers have collapsed from indus, egyptian to british empire. now --- usa; i somehow see the slow and gradual weaking of the economy. it no longer has the lusture it used to have back in the day. whats the future for
USA (democracy)?
India (democracy)?
china (communist)?

honest answers welcomed. :)

Majority of the Indians indulging in corruption. It is very difficult to transact business in Government Departments without corruption. There are lots of Indians who are honest people but still majority of the Indians indulge in corruption.

It's a philosophical question. Please answer it accordingly. You may use the philosophy of Gabrel Marcel, Soren Kierkegaar, and Jean Paul Sartre. Thank you. ASAP.

Your partner, lover, parent, child, best friend or any one else that is the closest to you. How would you paint their soul?

Shapes, colours, styles, oil on canvas or ink on paper? Those kind of things.

The dark side is considered to be the bad/evil side, the villains dress in black and so on when you look at stereotypes.

What is the root of that stereotype? Is it simply because we as humans fear the dark because we can't see in it or is there more to it?

Thoughts? Opinions?

Once I came across an old path
Unkown by so many
All I could see were lone footprints
On this road taken by so few
As I walked along I came across a fork
At one end was a wall
And at the other stood you
And although the path I did not know
It felt as if every step was not brand-new
As I approached what I thought was you
And reached out for your guidence
You dissappeared before my very sight
At this momment I reconized
This path I know all to well
This old untaken path
Was my past and my Present Life
So I walked past where you had stood
I just happened to look down
I saw the unremarkable, I saw your footprints but no you
So I keep on moving
But whenever I turn back
I still expect to see
What is not and could never be
