I am talking about intuitive belief. Yes there is logic involved as well, for instance if you believe in something proved by scientific experiments or based on first-hand experience. But apart from that there are instances where we just believe in things that we haven't even experienced first-hand such as we believe in things someone says to us. What are your thoughts?

I would like to find information on Lord Sri Krishna's wives, children, grandchildren, heirs and descendants to the present day. I know there are several dynasties throughout history which have claimed or do claim descent from Lord Krishna. Can you give me further details on their ancestry? Any links to tables showing Krishna's ancestors and descendants would be useful as well.

Setting, early America. A drama about a family and friends and a few leaders who wanted to keep paying taxes overseas but had no sympathy for the ususal overseas people that tried to run the show. They were keen on getting all the treaties signed and sealed and were involved with this stuff. Then, suddenly, they were among drunk revolutionaries and could not figure the value of anything. All links were lost so they had to fend for themselves and keep their loyalties to themselves. It gets dramatic when they can't send mail home to their relatives and loose contact forever. The story passes by the eyes of the mains characters fast and confusing with hopeful moments. Has such a story already been written? Does it sound impossible? Is it the story of just about anyone? Something more rare? Do you suggest I never write it because of someones cool shy ways?

I have a writer friend who writes comics for the tiny tots......I want to create an online presence about him and his comics through communities such as Orkut. As I, myself, is not a writer at all, I am finding it difficult to start anyway. So please provide me with some sites that can give some tips on this matter.

I let him see paper copies of a couple chapters of a novel I've been writing for almost three years. After we broke up, he refused to return the pages. I'm afraid he'll try and sabotage my (potential) writing career. How can I protect myself? Or how can I get my pages back? Any advice? Please help me. I have worked really hard on this.

I am confused because some sites say Peter Van Pels and others say Van Daan. If Van Daan is correct why do they say Van Pels? Is it the same thing?
p.s. Is the mother and father of Peter's names: Auguste and Herman?

bertrand, n. (1) A state of profound abstraction of mind and spirit; a trance. "He went into a bertrand and began to babble about the class of all classes which are not member of themselves." (2) The state of a person who suffers from delusions (e.g. as of one who doubts that, when he sees a table, he sees a table), or has visions (e.g. of the present King of France). (3) A state of linguistic amnesia, as of one who believes that "this" is a proper name and "Plato" a description.

I love writing and I've written a couple of stories. But whenever I want to write one... my mind goes blank... I can't think of anything to write about. It's really frustrating. I like to write:
- adventure
and
- fantasy
But I write anything I can if I have an idea. So if anyone, absolutly ANYONE has an idea, I would really appreciate it.

When I read it in 1984 it sounded like a science fiction book- cameras everywhere (cameras were huge contraptions) and thought police. Cameras cover much of most cities now- (traffic and {security} cameras everywhere) and phone tapping/email reading by Big Brother. Do kids today think those types of intrusion are scarry or just the way things are?

No, I don't want to know your name, and you can spare the references to The Who. Sum it up briefly. Tell me who you are.
