This is an interesting question because it opens the door to a variety of answers. Reincarnation presumes a rebirth in current or future times of a person who lived in the past. The circumstances presented that person in the reincarnated life may well be very different than they were in his or her historic past.

This said, I would choose my favorite historical figure, Winston S. Churchill, and would hope my childhood would be happier than his was and that my adulthood would be perhaps one tenth or more as productive as his was.

I am still awed by the fact that my life and Churchill's overlapped by 23 years. I remember him as a vibrant political figure from the times of my early childhood. The more I studied his life and accomplishments the more I admired him.

It's a toss-up between Betsy Ross and George Washington.
George Washington, the father of our country, the first president of the U. S. and I believe Paul Revere made him a set of wooden false teeth! I always wondered if he got an "attitude" cause he was the 1st president...Love to talk to Martha about that!

Genghis Khan. Dude got alot of babes. They say 1 in every 20 people on the planet is a direct descendant of his. He also forged the world's largest contiguous land empire. No one has ever found his grave and dug it up either. Sounds like he had it made.

I'd love to be Mark Twain--I believe he'd be greatly amused at the satire of today, like John Stewart and David Sedaris; I also think he'd have a lot of interesting observations about politics in general. I'd also be curious to hear his observations about the changes in U.S. history in the past 120 or so years.
