SOS, help needed ! ! ! !?

Question

I have a writer friend who writes comics for the tiny tots......I want to create an online presence about him and his comics through communities such as Orkut. As I, myself, is not a writer at all, I am finding it difficult to start anyway. So please provide me with some sites that can give some tips on this matter.
