Setting, early America. A drama about a family and friends and a few leaders who wanted to keep paying taxes overseas but had no sympathy for the ususal overseas people that tried to run the show. They were keen on getting all the treaties signed and sealed and were involved with this stuff. Then, suddenly, they were among drunk revolutionaries and could not figure the value of anything. All links were lost so they had to fend for themselves and keep their loyalties to themselves. It gets dramatic when they can't send mail home to their relatives and loose contact forever. The story passes by the eyes of the mains characters fast and confusing with hopeful moments. Has such a story already been written? Does it sound impossible? Is it the story of just about anyone? Something more rare? Do you suggest I never write it because of someones cool shy ways?

This sounds interesting, but it's not the plot that will "sell" the story. You need to make your characters VERY interesting, strong and believable. Good luck.

I don't quite understand what you are getting at with drunk revolutionaries and the value of things.
However, many people during the revolution wanted to maintain ties with and remain a part of England. They were called Tories. Lots of stories have been written about them.

What about "My Brother Sam is lifeless" via James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier. The e book takes position in the course of the american Revolution and exhibits what existence become like for a mushy loyalist with a patriotic brother.
