I would like to find information on Lord Sri Krishna's wives, children, grandchildren, heirs and descendants to the present day. I know there are several dynasties throughout history which have claimed or do claim descent from Lord Krishna. Can you give me further details on their ancestry? Any links to tables showing Krishna's ancestors and descendants would be useful as well.

deepuvaalu, my question has nothing to do with the Da Vinci Code. Actually there were dynasties within recorded history which claim descent from Krishna, who obviously did not live millions of years ago. If He was a real person, which I believe He was, then He certainly did not live more than several thousand years ago. The same goes for Rama. Interestingly, Siddharta Gautama Buddha descends directly from Lord Rama. The Yadavas are a Hindu caste which descend from relatives of Krishna. Some of them also claim direct descent from Krishna. What I want is more information. I want to know more about dynasties and families which claim descent from Krishna and any genealogical tables would be useful.

Hello...
First of all I think you have jammed too much of DaVinci into your head... Anyways, such doubts are bound to rise !
Hinduism believes in the concept to YUGA .(i.e.) - the world is made and it is destroyed by the Supreme . It merely exists for a certain span of time.
We are living in the KALI yuga right now.. this yuga is said to exist for over four lacs years... that clears the point - that we cannot predict times before the Guptas and the Mauriyas...
The Mahabaratha and the Ramayana were all events of different yuga namely the DWAPARA yuga and the THREYTHA yuga ...
we come to know about them only through the scriptures of saints like valmiki... and so , there is no practical evidence for the existence of an Heir for Lord Krishna - actually , the BHAGAVATHAM says that Krishna himself breathed last only after his son did!!! and Rama's sons were crowned kings when Brahma was -100 years old (minus hundred!) . One hour for Brahma is a thousand human earthly years.. so jus imagine!!!
Hence , I suggest you start contemplating who'd be the first FOREFATHER of KALKI bhagavan , than look for Krishna's blood-lines!!!!
I guess my article is jus a bit big... nevermind .. as long as you pick up ANGELS AND DEMONS next time!!!!
